Hayden is playing soccer

My little man was sooo excited we went to the store and bought his cleats and shin guards
when we got home he put them on and was waiting on daddy to come home to show him and fell asleep

Then friday he has his first practice he was sooo excited he was dressed and ready to go at 11 am and practice was not even until 6:30 he had to endure 2 hours of Moriah at dance before we could get there

He did great at soccer there are 6 on his team 4 boys and two girls. He was a great kicker and was the only one who could aim the ball where he wanted it to go he had a blast thought occasionally he would be silly and LIE on the field

Last night they also recieved their uniforms
Hayden is on the red team and he is number 3
this was put on as SOON as he woke up this am and has worn it since all day the whole uniform

the circus has a stage

Bryson wanted a stage so he can direct plays on that include the rest of the circus
so I mean what else can one do except BUILD A stage right?!?!?
So it is 13feet 8 inches LONG and 4.5 feet off the ground

its so large i cannot fit it all into the picture but you get the idea there are Two doors
one on the top stage and then what they call the midget door that is at the bottom
in the first pic the doors were open the second there were closed

So where does Bryson sleep you may ask well UNDER the stage

and where does HUdson sleep iN madison old bed which is still pink we are revamping it that is the project this week

All my campers are home and asleep
They have many stories to tell and all wanted to talk at once. I am proud of all them. Each one of the counselors including the nurse that went pulled me aside and told me what a blessing my kids were how polite and generous and well spoken and a pure joy. Some of the other campers told me that certain of my kids blessed them at one point. What an amazing testimony to have a 6th grader tell me they wish Bryson was their brother!!! I am a proud momma
Things i Learned this weekend with 2
*I am a much better to two kids now that I have 6 then when i just had two
*Quiet is OVER rated. Even the babies missed the noise and chaos
*Hayden and Jaxon are such big boys. they can do and think more than I give them credit for. They are my babies and they proved to be much more they are bestest friends just like Hudson and Bryson
* when all the dishes in my house are clean they do not fit in the cabinets
* same is true with clothes- not enough hangers :)
*clean house are over rated from thursday til sunday my house was spotless and clean and I was NOT happier cause my heart was aching for my other kids. I always thought when they are older my house will be so clean- totally over rated

I did enjoy my alone time with the kids. I work really hard to spend as much one on one with each kid and some will say I am good at it considering there are 6. But this one on one with these two was unforgettable best 4 days ever

Hayden has Moved into Madisons room. We have played, colored, done puzzles, tortured the puppies, went to the water park, and gotten ice cream from the ice cream truck!! we are resting and enjoying teh calm before the storm starts back up.They are starting to miss them more now and by tomorrow night I know it will be worse. On the good note laundry, dishes, and food are soo much easier to keep up with when there is two and not six

Moriahs recital was saturday evening! On friday at 4pm she cut her foot open. After a wonderful staff at the er that made sures he made it to her rehearsal on time. we made it to the dress rehearsal in time with just some glue on our foot Here are a few picts we got dressed hair and make up in the er waiting room Moriah danced so wonderfully even though she could not wear a ballet shoe the night of rehearsal. She never put her toe down but did her very best. The night of the recital she was able to put her shoe on but she still never put her toe down. she was such a trooper we were very proud

My week at the er

So you all read that I had to call the er sunday cause Hayden jumped into the pool!!
Well wednesday Moriah got her ring stuck on the ladder of the pool. When she yank it, it bent the ring and it was NOT pretty!! the ring bent around her finger into a point in the very back. it was very painful was swelling her finger and causing and indentation so off to the er we went
we literally walked in the cut it off and we had to wait for registration to come get our insurance info!!!
Today we were(if you read my previous post) fighting about Chores(bryson and I)
He and Hayden were wrestling and Hayden picked up a PVC pipe that Bryson uses as a mirco phone and wacked Bryson on the head with it. The blood started dripping!!
Luckily for Hadyen Madison ran into me in the hall as I was about to spank Hayden and took him to time out. When I cleaned up the blood realized we were OFF to the er again this week. Dominic halfway joked they might take the kids with all these visits and i said well let them I could use the break!!
Bryson got one staple to the head and cat scan! In the hospital all bandaged up he looked just like Cade and even stranger just like Moriah.
Home with a killer headache we are hoping to avoid any more er visits this weekend

But for some stupid reason I STOPPED what was I THINKING!!!
So last week I figured after a coming to Jesus meeting with the kids that the house was falling apart with all the activities and school we would start again
I spent hours remaking lists what needed to be done. whether monthly weekly or daily
Bought colored paper one for each child.
and MOnday we got started
it was a crazy week cause monday and tuesday were full of Dr visits
BUT the chores are getting done. the kids know what is more expected most has been without problems

FIRSt of all my kids Hudson is not my best picture taker and I LOVE this picture!!!
he is growing up sooo much sniff sniff
He is playing live arm for the first time and his team is young mostly just 9 year olds- the league is 9-10 year olds. They have not won a single games yet but LAST NIGHT THEY WON!!!!! IN overtime. They played well
Hudson STOLD homebase and slid in and got hurt. so much so he cried and needed Ice but he sucked it up pretty quickly to score again!!
after the 1 hour and half time slot they were tied 11 to 11 which sent them into overtime ( I would have been THRILLED with a tie but Dixie rules do not allow it) so we had to play a whole inning. This was scary since we know sometimes it has taken us an 1 hour inning. But they did great!!! the winning out was our catcher tagged a boy at home they were soo pumped. the coach lifted the boy up in the air the boys were so excited ( i felt a tad bad for the other team cause like us they had no won a game)
well the other boys on team wanted to lift J the catcher up too but he was too heavy so they made Hudson the honoree. since he is the tiniest one everyone lifted him up was very cute!!! we have another game tonight. now that they know what a win eels like maybe it will help

One would say wow how did you know it was time to come off on a Tuesday when your appointment is not til NEXT friday. Well funny you should ask ! Because a certain 4 year old who had the cast could NOT wait for it to go swimming and jumped into the pool!!!
yes we were all outside no he was not in danger of drowning but the cast was dripping wet!! he even had a trash bag over it thinking it would help :) he is a good thinker huh!!!
so when we went to have the wet cast cut off it ended up not being wet except on bot ends it had not penetrated the middle. they did an xray and it was all better!!! so instead of a new cast he got to carry home the old one.

Jaxon

He is my man I just love him!! He is our last baby. And really at 2 and the biggest graphia to ever be born in our family he is not a baby!!
He keeps me on my toes like no other toddler except Madison has! He escapes under the fence and runs across the street. When he does bad he looks behind to make sure you are watching a smiles!!
He is now into telling on himself! I picked hum up from church class last night and he says "momma I push" and he said it over and over again until I responded. I said Jaxon you push that's not nice He said "no push momma no push" his teacher said he pushed a kid trying to take the ball. Apparently that kid did NOT get the memo he BROKE Hayden's arm for taking a juice cup!!!
Jaxon is also potty learning. This is new in our house! I potty trained the first four by 2 and Hayden well he was Hayden and at 3 I told him it was time. But Jaxon out the blue started asking to potty! but he says I Popeye which means I potty that is his word!! Popeye I have NO idea why but that is it. Sometimes he goes and sometimes he plays. But when he sits he says No touch momma- because i tell him not to play with himself while he sits!!! so he repeats that every time!! he goes a few times a day.
Some of you may be thinking how exciting after 12 years to have a kid out of diapers BUT the thought of having 4 boys who pee wherever that thing points does NOT excite me. No matter how much I clean that bathroom it reeks of urine!!!
Other things that Makes Jaxon precious are his smile and he teases me he says NO kisses momma that is daddys kiss!!! he talks sooo much which is scary!! Hayden did not say a word til after his second birthday then it was few and far between and NOW he never shuts up. Can I really take another one who never shuts up!!
Jaxon is obsessed with trains and takes them and hides then so Hayden cannot take them!!!

Baptism

My precious babies were Baptised Last sunday on May 2nd!!
They asked on their own and met with their pastor and talked about what it meant and why they wanted to do it. They were so sweet. He did them together in the pool at the same time. Poor Moriah could not reach the bottom so when it was time he put Moriah on the step dunked Hudson then dunked Moriah.
They are upstairs in church behind the curtain but there is a camera in front of them on a ladder.The camera puts their pictures on the big screen at church so everyone can see them and they cannot see anyone when the two of them got in together the whole church went awwwwwww. then cheered as they were Baptized
Moriah being so sweet and sensitive said"today is my new birthday. The day I became a new person in Christ"

Dominic has been helping get the Suttons auction together he did a great job from setting up performers to building the sets!! The kids had a blast they helped all week and set up everyone commented on how well behaved they are and how smart they are!! Good for a momma to hear

At gym we are so proud he is moving up to the harder level and more practices and with a new group of older boys
He now works out 16 hours a week instead of 12 until the summer when he will do 20!! He is in heaven one would think he won the lottery he was so excited

Last night Hayden and Jaxon were home with Madison cause Hudson had a LATE baseball game
Madison called about 9pm and said Mom Hayden broke his arm. Jaxon pushed him off the coffee table Madison said she heard a pop- I should have believed her!
well Madison can exaggerate a little so I said put some ice on it and lets see what happened
So she called like 3 minutes later and said he was fine stay at the game he fell asleep on the couch
when I got home I was getting the boys in the shower and giving Moriah meds ect Dominic tried to move Hayden off the couch and put him in his bed and the screaming began
It started swelling so off to the hospital we went. Sadly the hospital was packed we waited about an hour and a half- there is a pediatric er here that is not usually very full but it was
When he got back he was so brave!!
when the xrays came back the Dr said well it is not broke... BADLY
He said it did not need to be set *GASP* I did not even THINK about setting thank GOD it did not need that
He has a semi hard cast on hard at top and bottom but allows for room for swelling. we have to call the orthopedics this am to see her next week!
But he put on a smile when it was all done

Hudson is NINE

Even though Karen INSISTS he is 10 I promise he is nine. I was there!! March 7 2001. I was gonna be induced on the 9 but he came on his own. He is my middle child!! He loves to be alone but he is also so Ricky Brown. Man of few words

He has become an aswome basketball player and he loves sports. football baseball all of it. He loves to throw balls and dribble. It seems strange that he is my second son but only my first to love sports. Bryson is an athlete my hates balls <3

I remember how hard that first year of Hudsons life was hard with a baby a 18 month old and MADISON at 3!!! But it was all worth it! He is an amazing young man!! He wants to be Pistol Pete a short guy who made it big and he can. He is growing tall he is taller tahn Bryson.

I am proud of him and all my kids. How did he turn nine already!!!

It is 2:30 am and i just woke up to find Jaxon in the big boys room playing and eating a box of Cheezenips

Seriously!!!

As I was putting him back in bed I realized that two short hours ago I became a mom 12 years ago.

12 years???? cannot be cause I remember it like it was yesterday. I remember being miserable and pg. I remember crying when I left the Dr to hear those words "it will be awhile"

I remember like it was yesterday in alberstons as my water broke and driving home to put the groceries away.

I remember calling the Dr I remember on the way to the hospital saying "oh NO I am not ready I cannot do this"

And yet as I looked in her room it has really been 12 years.

I had No idea 12 years ago as I held that TINY 5 pound baby how life would never be the same.

I did not get that sleeping through the night never really happens again. But most importantly I had no idea that I could possibly love another human being so much. I had no idea that tiny 5 pound baby could cause me so much pain and so much joy in the same moment.

I honestly had no idea that it was the hardest most painful and wonderful job in the world to be a mom. I had no idea that when I disaster happened or a child was kidnapped I could weep and my heart break for the thought of it happening to mine. I had no idea what it was like to stay up all night with a sick child praying they would just get better. How every cancer commercial made my heart ACHE. I had no idea what it would be like to be helpless while your child was in surgery in someone else care. i honestly had no idea that I could survive with my heart outside my body but it does. It survives on each of my children who I love more than anything. But it was her 12 years ago that taught me. It was her and I that started this journey together. My baby girl.

Looking back 12 years I remember watching her all night. I remember the nurses saying SLEEP you will need it. Almost like they knew Madison would never let up on me! Which she did not!!!

She was a fighter! She screamed and cried always and yet I loved her. She climbed out of her crib at 9 months and she was the joy of my life.

At two she snuck out her window and went to a neighbors at naptime yet she was the love of my life.

AT three she cut all and i mean ALL her hair off and I thought she was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.

At 5 she kicked and screamed her way through life and all I wanted to do was hold her and rock her.

And now at 12 she is the most amazing 12 year old I know. She has a zest for life I never had. She loves jesus more than anyone i know. She is a great encourager to friends. She is full of life and will be a world changer because she has never taken no for an answer. She leads worship on wednesday nights and leads 100 kids to love Jesus as much as she does. Even at 12 she wants to be my little girl. How did I get so lucky??

Looking back tonight I had no idea how this would happen or that it would. I had no idea the pains and joys that my life would take from there after. No ideas or even thoughts of what life would be like 12 years down the road I just held that tiny bundle of joy and stared.

And tonight as I went in to watch her sleep again I am so thankful for the whole journey of motherhood. We still have many things to go through and experience and as I "fight" the her growing up process and learn to let go..... I can also see the fruits of my labor and man what a ride it has been.

I know this will shock some of u but we are so busy!!!
We have three gym meets left this season- this weekend New Orleans, Next weekend Houston then March 19 Baton Rouge.
Basketball season is almost over and we have started BASEBALL!!!
We have two plays going on I am an Actor which each of my kids are in two scenes and Madison has a solo!!
Then Little Mermaid.
Moriahs recital is in May so that is in full swing. And I have two very busy toddlers
In the midst of this we are schooling!!!
Madison is the new worship leader of kids church. Many exciting things but some things also make us lose wight of the real things!
I am trying to find a balance of it all.
Right now I am sitting here typing when I need to be packing.
So this is why updates are not frequent gotta go Hayden just dumped salt and red kool aid on Moriahs carpet

Bryson

I just wanna write about Bryson a moment today. He is Bryson! If you know him that evokes so many thoughts. First off he lights up a room by just walking into it. He just smiles all time. LOVES LIFE.
He may be small in stature but it never holds him back. He just jumps in and joins the group. He is popular and well loved. He loves gymnastics and swears he will be in the 2020 Olympics so do not tell him differently
He is like his daddy is so many ways. He thinks BIG he wants a laser light show in his room so he hung 13,000 Christmas lights in his room. He wanted a stage to do skits on he built one.
He can build anything out of kinex and will spend hours designing it and constructing it.
He is sensitive and caring. Always looking out for his siblings. For example: when Hudson had his first basketball game this year he could not go so he made a poster and had everyone sign it saying go Hudson so he would know Bryson was wishing him luck.
There is a boy at gym who bullies him and Bryson still invites him over and when I say Bryson you do not have to play with him he says " what if I am the only light of Jesus he ever knows"
I always knew he was destin for greatness he is my bryson and i am so proud of him

It has been so long since i have posted but I am still alive!!
Things are moving along quickly as usual.
My grandparents came up for a visit recently talk about the best thing for your soul!! To have your grandparents in your house enjoying your children. I am so blessed to have had my grandparents in my life for all 34 years of my life. They live life never slow down.
It was an amazing visit. My kids love them as much as I do which warms my heart.
My Grandfather went with me to watch Hudson play basketball. My grandma came to see Bryson do some gym.
Visiting them at their house is special but when they come here and are a particpant in our lives I just think it is different. Just a peak into what we do.
My grandma was a huge help when she was here. What a relief to have help. Man I could get used to that

I wanted to write a blog about each of my amazing kids to remind myself and others how great they are and what a blessing they are even during the trials. Madison forst

She is spunky to say the least. Opinionated at BEST. Passionate about EVERYTHING. and MOST The time I am the village idiot. I mean I am mom.
I have spend sooo many years shaping Madison's will, praying for her disciplining her. Those who have known her since birth KNOW this is an understatement.
BUT lately seeing the fruits of my labor has been so amazing. It is hard to put into words when you experience this. It reminds me of the song we are the clay and God is the potter. it is an old song we used to sing in church. And I realized how proud i am of the way her clay has formed. And I am reminded how much God is the same way. When we turn into more Christlike he is also excited about the formed clay.
Last night Madison was acting super silly. But I was in the tub and she was in the gabby about preteen stuff. You know the drama of it all. So in so is not do this, and can you believe she did that.
and she started talking about this summer when she moved up from Children's church to youth. FOR YEARS I have dreaded this. Something about youth scary me. I Think it is letting her grow up and NOTHING to do with youth :)
In MY mind she is counting the days cause her dad and I help in CHildren's church and I thought she was thinking FREEDOM they will stay in children's church and I will be away from them FINALLY
So IMAGINE my surprise when she says "MOM you will have to teach a bible study or help out in youth. I am not moving up without you"
I SERIOUSLY had to hold back tears of excitement. And NOT because of what you think. Not because ooh I can still spy on her and not let her go. BUT because she is CHOOSING ME!!!
When all the other kids around her are choosing to stay away from their village idiot MIND chooses me.
Once again I am reminded about how my spiritual life is such a parallelism to parenting. Imagine how my Father feels when I choose Him probably more excited than I feel that Madison chooses me.
So in short God is amazing His Grace never fails. On the days I thought of giving up on Madison and her strong willedness I did not. and look at what the wonderful young lady she has become. YET on the days I failed her MISERABLE look at the wonderful young lady she has become.

Bryson had a GREAT meet this weekend in Houston. He and i made the trip alone and had a nice time.
He placed 8th on Pommel Horse
10 on Parallel bars
3 on high bar
and 9th all around
This was not a participation meet which meant lots of boys went home with nothing.
His overall score increased from his first meet which was a 77 to this meet was a 81 a HUGE improvement
and to top it off his team won 3rd place out of i *think* 16 teams
We are very pleased with his progress. Two more weeks til Gumbo Cup in Sulphur

we went to Bass Pro SHop again this year! They have this amazing santa workshop all set up and they give a free picture!

My grandfather turns 80

My grandfather is the most amazing man. I am pretty sure he hung the moon and I will not believe anything else :)
He turned 80 Monday 80 wow I cannot even imagine. He is so young a vibrant so active. He is the rock. I cannot even imagine one day of my life without him. He has been with me through it all.
Whether it is singing Crazy songs that I pray he never lets my children know or snuggling up in his lap even into college always seeming safe.
I cannot imagine a better grandfather in the whole world. I think one of the greatest joys in my life is my children knowing him and loving him just as much. sadly we do not see them often but my children have real and fond memories of him. If you even mention Gramps Hayden says ooh I love his fish!!
Well my special amazing grandfather gets overlooked a lot at birthdays as many who have December birthdays do. Our family wanted him to know how special he was so we planned a surprise birthday party!!!
It was at moms house and they told him they were taking him to lunch for his birthday! When he arrived all his children grandchildren and great grandchildren were waiting to yell surprise!!
Hudson said not to yell because he thought Gramps might have a heart attack ( yea what a comedian) but he was shocked and surprised.
I pray that he will always remember that day and realize how special he is and how many lives he has touched even if it is just mine and my 6 :)

we have a great tradition I love that was passed on from my childhood.
Every year we purchase a new ornament for each child to symbolize their year- It can be sports or ballerina or silly or whatever really suits this for the year. This year Hadyen picked a fireman santa cause he is obsessed with firemen. Madison picked a hand painted one with drama masks cause it is her first year to act ect.
So we set out all the ornaments in their pile then the put them on the tree!!
Bryson told me recently "mom did you know none of my other friends have their own ornaments"
I just smiled I love how he thought it was the norm I love my little family

We celebrated Thanksgiving with a wonderful family we met 6 years ago.
They have a wonderful crew of 5 kids two from China. We had more food than anyone could eat and the kids played and played and played! we only saw them when they wanted food!!
Their youngest they just got from China in September Breanne became fast friends with Hayden and they walked around holding hands. It was a special and relaxing day! Thank God for friends

Today was Open House at Moriah's ballet! I love this place!! they put on beautiful productions that tell a story! This years story is the 4 seasons!! Moriah is harvest! She did so great as i expected. she has come a long way from when she started 3.5 years ago!!

Our Halloween was different this year! we let bryson go with a friend. we have never done that before and later he revealed how sad he was once he got there to miss out on it with us. In fact tonight he asked me to have everyone dress back up again cause e missed having a family picture of everyone dressed up!! am I a blessed momma or what!!!

Jaxon was a dragon and hayden was a skunk. But really Hayden was suppose to be scooby doo and Jaxon a skunk. When it got time to get dressed hayden insisted on teh skunk. it was too short but NOT worth the fight!

Jubilee zoo

A little petting zoo opened where we live. The kids have been watching it getting ready to open and we had this day on our calendar a long time :)

So we went and they had a blast. Jaxon wanted every animal and most of them ran from him. Except one goat that rammed him. Then Dominic unsnapped his outfit to make sure he was not marked then the same goat took a CHUNK out his diaper! very close to the family jewels.

then we went on a hay ride. They took us to a field and in the field they have horses, zebras and cow that came right up to the ride and ate the hay right off our "chairs" as Hayden called it :)

At the very end they rode ponies. I did not buy Hayden a token to ride the ponies cause I was really unsure if he wanted to. SO when the others got on there he started crying. So I went and bought him a token. He rode it all by himself and he was soo happy. They told him that his ponies name was Sophie. That just thrilled him beacuse his friend across the street is named Sophie! That is all he has talked about was his horse Sophie and when he can go back and ride it.

we have been in school two weeks now. we have a great routine going so it is smooth! Jaxon and Hayden play in their room for about an hour while we get most of our group work done. Then when we break up for individual work it is not a big deal cause they have someone to play with!

Yesterday we went for a photo shoot! she spent 2.5 hours with us we used two locations. These are some she edited. I love the one of all them lying down. Jaxon wanted NO part in that one! I know she probably look 300 pictures so this is just a tease to what is to come!!!

The play was fantastic!! Madison has three parts but she is on stage at least 50 % of the time. She is a stallholder which is during the carnival! then she is a Hogget sheep. you can see her in some of the dance scenes she is to the right of Babe. At the end of the play she is an official who decides who the winner is at the sheep dog trials! it was a great show last night 9 more shows to go

Yesterday at gym Bryson hit himself in the face with a plastic handle of an elastic exercise band!

he did a dozie on his face and nose

These are the clothes he was wearing and you can see the small scratch on his face. The part we think might be broken is under his eye by the nose. It looks bad. He is sore hurting and said he feels numbness. It hurts to chew. It bled for about 8 hours off and on. I think tomorrow it will be a pretty blue color. Right now it is turning yellow :)

Dominic Madison Bryson and hUdson went to church camp! They left last thursday and came home sunday

They had such a blast. everyone said Hudson probably had the most fun. On Sunday he told me he had gotten homesick by saturday. I said "aww you missed me" he said " I said I was HOMESICK not momma sick" smart ass. I swear he is too much like his pawpaw!!!

Dominic was Bryson's counselor and they had contests daily and challenges and Dominic and Bryson won that!

Hudson won the pie eating contest- which was brown sugar and oreo (they were told it was dirt) and had to eat the gummy worms out of it he won!

Each group did a skit. Hudson did beat boxing the whole time in the microphone, Bryson sang and Madison was disobeying all the rules"

They said the slip in slide was a blast but as you can see it is a huge tarp into a mud pit!

WHen they got home and i started unpacking I noticed all of Hudson's towels but his beach towel were still rolled up like I had folded them. when asked he said he did not shower why did he need to he had swan in the pool everyday!

NASTY!! I immediately made him shower!!! GROSS

When they got home Bryson was sick he and slept 22 straight hours- they said it was not swine flu that he had tested negative but two boys in his cabin tested positive since being home so I think he actually did have it. He is better now and back to his old self!

All week I have heard great stories of camp, camp songs, things they did at camp, funny stuff from camp ect

I love that they had a great time! what sweet memories!!

Next year MORIAH gets to go! I get excited thinking how nice 4 days with just me Hayden and Jaxon :)

after we did Madisons cake inside my friend heather changed the table cloth and decorations and put Bryson decorations and cakes on the kitchen table inside

when Madison's party was over we took all her stuff inside and set up a table for Hudson outside with all his theme stuff.

each kid had a laundry basket with their name on it that said "Madison's gifts" so when there was more than one table outside we knew where stuff went!

week of hospitals

This week we have gone twice!
Tuesday we were cleaning house and Moriah and Jaxon were hiding in the hall closet. Moriah went to close the door and smashed Jaxon's who hand in the middle of the bifold doors. Poor baby they were swollen tight and yucky all 4. had to go make sure he did not crush any bones. THANK GOD he did not. Moriah was devestated! LOVE the childrens er here. literally we were in and done in 7 minutes then had to wait 45 minutes for registration to come before we could leave.
Thursday Madison woke up stretched and screamed. her elbow popped out! Nurse maids elbow at 11 who knew! It happened all the time when she was little but 11! so they popped it back in! Since then she popped it back out this am but she put it back herself!
Tomorrow at 7 am Madison is leaving for a small missions trip in Fort Worth. Her small leadership team is going help a smaller church paint and spruce up their childrens church. She is so excited she has been packed since MONDAY!
Other than that just a normal week. The pool is soooo hot that we have to turn the sprinklers on it to get in it! And Hudson just keeps getting darker and darker. Even my red headed Hayden has a nice dark tan!
we are planning a birthday party extravaganza. since we moved and other things no parties have occured yet. So On July 18 th everyone will have a party. starting at 11 am and staggering them throughout the day we will have a party at the house for each kid. I will be baking 6 cakes and having chips and water and juice boxes for everyone.Wish me luck

we usually do a picture of the kids as a gift so we did it again!! This was the best of what we had. I had a hard time picking so I gave Dominic one in a frame. I picked a few more and will mail them out Monday or Tuesday to Grandma, momma, daddy and Cade

all 5 kids went to vbs last week even Hayden they had a BLAST. Hayden usually does not even stay in our church nursery so I was not sure how he would do. He was so excited he talked about his school all week. He told me bye everyday with no problems. It was cute. And I must admit it was HEAVENLY having Just Jaxon for 3.5 hours everyday! Though he was lost without them and lit up when we picked them up!

So this is Haydens art work he did last week. He was proud we hung it on the fridge and he wanted his Mimi, grandma and Pawpaw to see what he did!!!

Ok so our weekend in pictures!

It was HOT and we spent most of the time in the pool. Jaxon loves it. Hayden and Jaxon are tan and well Moriah and Hudson are BLACK.

Of course Madison was uncooperative in the ones I wanted but smiled in her crappy outfit. She is really photogenic. Moriah could not be left out. she was still in her church clothes so she posed like a model. I love her short haircut it just makes her face look sweeter! Hudson avoided the camera I promise to get more later. He was helping his dad cut down a tree off my patio. I will post pictures of that in my next post!

Saturday we headed off to my dad's for lunch and the day. Had some yummy spagetti and the kids played and played. Jaxon loves being outside so we had to keep him out the street. other than that he was good. Hayden rode the "cow" it was a saddle and i think he was trying to be a cowboy! It was cute

we really had a great weekend. Most of the trip was chasing Jaxon he was up and down the stairs a ton. HE HATED the boat but really it was only cause he hated the life jacket. I think it was so heavy it made it hard for him to walk and now that he is walking he does not like to be held down. we had crabs on saturday and my grandparents came. I hope we go down once more this summer. If mom recovers from this visit!

On saturday we attended the Blanchard Poke Salad festival. I have heard that poke salad is a plant but I was clueless. And sadly they did not even serve poke salad

Happy Birthday Sweet boy Hadyen!

My little red hair firecracker! It took me five kids to get one with my hair color and Hayden is the one. He is sweet and lovable while being histerical. I swear he is the funniest three year old ever! I never know what will come out his mouth! Having older brothers does NOT help. His big things right now is when he is mad at you he calls you OBAMA like it is a bad word!!! The other day he said his "balls" hurt!!! When is birthday cards came he wanted to know where HIS $$$ was! everyone else got money where was his!

He is a pain to get to bed but loves to snuggle at nap time. we are potty training and as long as he is naked he does great! with clothes on he does about 70%

Did you know this year I will be the momma of TWO children in double digits!

Hudson is what some call my Strange bird. He is sweet and sensitive and moody. He loves to be alone. He is a man of few words and in many case has a similar personality like my father Ricky Brown- weird cause it is NOT environmental I promise

So today he had his cookie cake. He and i are going to build a bear to spend some of his money, to dinner and if time to get him some clothes. If not then clothes wait til monday . He loves to snuggle with him momma and spending alone time with me is special to any kid who has 5 siblings :)
